Or Travelocity or Overstock? And Techcruch forgot to mention the how reacted the recipes site. As I wrote yesterday some local businesses are eager to join the Beacon program. I think Facebook is on the right track of finding proper partners with some minor side effects. Just growth pain, you know…

I hesitated to try Ruby and honestly did not like hype over Rails (RoR). So far I did not see long lasting hypes. I do not know how long RoR will stay around but one thing for sure Ruby (the one without Rales) is excellent scripting language and beats Microsoft scripting, any shell scripting including Bash. It’s very compact and fun both to learn and program.
Provides powerful support of regular expressions (can do the same tricks as Perl), seamlessly calls OS, works on any platform. I decided for my self that regardless of what the future holds for Rails I am going to stick to Ruby as scripting language and thanks to Rails for making me to learn Ruby.
